National Day of Prayer for Ukraine has been held since 2016 with the support of British evangelist David Hathaway. Since then, parishioners of more than 20 unions and Christian communities have united in prayer for Ukraine. An example for them was the National Days of Prayer in the United States and Great Britain.
The main slogan of the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine was a quote from the Bible:
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” ! » (2 Chronicles 7:14)
On the pages of the National Day of Prayer on social networks, on four Christian satellite TV channels, the prayer unites tens of thousands of Orthodox, Catholics and Protestants who sincerely mourn the fate of Ukraine.
On June 12, 2021, after a long break due to the global pandemic, the sixth National Day of Prayer for Ukraine will take place in the Kyiv Palace of Sports.
Beginning at 02:30PM (GMT).
The event will be held in compliance with all quarantine requirements.
In 2020, for the first time, the National Day of Prayer was broadcast by the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN Ukraine) – the representative office of the world Catholic television network in Ukraine.
